Thomas Hospital was wonderful to us. While the babies were there, the nurses always provided a private room for me to visit and nurse/feed the babies during the day.

In the car and ready to go!
In the pack and play as soon as we got home. Both babies had to be swaddled and kept really warm for the first couple weeks to be sure they maintained body temperature. They wore preemie clothes for about 5 weeks and as you can see below, even the little preemie hats were too big!
Of course, Nana and Grandma were over to visit as soon as they could!
First feeding at home. Both babies were fed pumped breastmilk for the first 6-7 weeks of life. Because they were given bottles at the hospital and were premature, neither had any interest in breastfeeding.
