A New Chapter of Life

Well, after 15 months of trying to conceive, it finally happened. Brandon and I got our first positive pregnancy test on December 2, 2009. Praise the Lord!

We confirmed the pregnancy with a doctor's appointment on December 4 and had our first ultrasound December 22....what a wonderful Christmas present!

TWINS! When the ultrasound tech told us there were two, Brandon and I both teared up. I could barely talk the rest of the appointment!

We called family and friends as we were leaving the doctor. I had never felt more blessed and thankful. After trying for over a year, we were going to have two babies!

Gifts that I sent to my mom and dad to let them know they were going to be grandparents for the first time.
